About Me

I've   spent   my   entire  life  indulging  in  tiny  little  love  stories.  I've rummaged  through  them  like  a  music  fiend  in  a  dusty  shop  full  of  classic  vinyls.   I've perused   books,  scouted  magazine  articles,  and devoured  screen  plays  knowing  that  my  spirit  animals  were  out  there somewhere, equally obsessed with all things "love".  Like  me,  they  too  were  hanging  on  to  Coltrane  encores  and  Ndegeocello  lyrics  while  waiting  on  their  next  fix...  Writing  the  most  perfect  prose,  and  flawless  verses,  with  this  awe-inspiring  love  as  their  muse.  Me  and  my  soul  tribe  were  searching,  at  times  even  clamoring,  for  this  tiny  little  thing  that  was  always  abiding  in  the  crevices  of  our   own  souls...  waiting  to  be  found,  waiting  to  be  cracked  wide  open  to  bask  freely  in  the  light.  There  is  a  West  African Adinkra  symbol  -  Odo  Nnyew  Fie  Kwan  -  it  means,  "Love  never  loses  its  way  home."  Its  a  beautiful  symbol  of  the  enduring  power  and  unimaginable  capacity  of  real,  untethered  love;  a  reminder  to  trust  in  the  unseen  and  in  the  deep  possibilities  that  live  somewhere  on  the  horizon.  

This  space  is  an  ode  to  Odo  Nnyew  Fie  Kwan.  It's a gathering  of  authentic  lovers;  those  who  know  that   love  is  the  only  true  north.  This  space  is  an  assembly of  the  wanderers  who  love  to  explore  the  world.  This  space  is  for  folks  who  absolutely  love  good,  well-sourced  food.  This  space  is  for  those  committed  to whole-body wellness.  This  space  is  for  advocates  who  stand  for  their  people,  boldy,  loudly,  and  by  any  means  necessary. This  space  is  for  writers  looking  for  a  muse.  This  space  is  for  my  tribe  of   wild  women,  alchemists,  healers,  and  warriors... The  daughters  of  the  oceans  and  the  sisters  of  the  rivers.   I'm  so  incredibly  lucky  to  find  you  here.  Let's  make  magic!
